Reminders of upcoming events

This is a reminder that the EHS Marching Eagle band has scheduled a car wash this Saturday, July 19th  at AutoZone in Mebane on Mebane Oaks Rd. between Waffle House and Advance Auto.  Student and parent volunteers are needed.  We will begin at 9:00am until 2:00pm. All money raised will go into the general band fund.  The only thing you will need to bring is a towel to help dry off cars as we wash them. The Manger of AutoZone will provide buckets, hand towels and cleaning supplies for us to use.  It would be great if some could come from 9 am until 11:30 am and another group from 11:30 until 2 pm. There will be no set price for washing the cars just donations. Please use school dress code since we are representing Eastern; no short shorts, tank tops, or bathing suits please. I need at least four students to hold signs at the entrances and help direct people in and out of the parking lot.  Signs are needed if anyone would like to help make them.

Saturday, August 2nd we will be cleaning out the concession stand at the football field so we can get ready for another football season. If you would like to help, please contact Karen Aulbert at kaulbert@marchingeagles.org.

Also on August 2nd I will need some help constructing a sign support for our sponsors at the football field. I would like to start that morning at 9:00 a.m. after we drop off our kids at band camp practice and should finish up by lunch.

Blue Ribbon/Eastern Alamance HS Band Spirit Night

Our Blue Ribbon fundraiser was a huge success, especially since all we have to do is just for showing up to eat. Because it was such as success for both the Band and for Blue Ribbon, they've agreed to do this for us on a monthly basis - the first Monday of every month. So the next one will be March 3rd. Blue Ribbon has also agreed to extend the time so that it's good throughout the whole day. Please print the updated flier and bring it with you.

Don't forget to print some extras and hand them out to friends and local family members!
